Mariana Beach Apartments and Hotel

The Mariana Beach Apartments and Hotel is owned and operated by your on-site hosts, Verneen and Alfredo. They are a Canexican couple and bring the best of both cultures to the table.  The lively energy of Mexico with that good ol' Canadian attention to service. 

We are a smaller hotel here at the Mariana Beach Apartments and Hotel. Our office is on the ground floor and we have 17 apartments or rooms between the next three levels.  Each apartment and room has it's own unique flavor and theme.  The bungalo with it's thatched roof and twinkly lights on the rooftop. The Iguana Apartment is done up in greens, the Chili Pepper Apartment is in rich reds. The Fisherman's Apartment is light and airy in shades of blue with an ocean view.

On the second level is our big communal patio.  It is partially shaded, with tables and chairs nestled into our "jungle" of plants.  It is magical in the evening when the twinkly lights are on, the breeze is warm, the "cerveza" is cold and the bar-b-que is wafting delicious odors of 'carne'.  There is also a bookcase filled with books and games for everyone to use and enjoy.

We have a smaller patio on the third floor and two small balconies on the front of the building overlooking the street.  Many guests stick chairs out there to watch the busy night life and entertainment that happens in front of the hotel.  We have flame throwers and dancers that show up most nights between 8-9,  and Gus-Gus Restaurant has live music most nights that is always fun to catch.

Then we also have the roof top which overlooks the ocean.  We all love to sit up there and catch the sunsets.  Of course, we have bar-b-ques up there as well, and there are also lounge chairs for sunbathing

If you prefer to sunbathe on the beach then just walk out the side entrance of the hotel and you are 20 meters from a gorgeous strip of sandy beach.  We have a lending cupboard for our guests to enjoy with coolers, blankets, umbrellas and toys for those that want to enjoy a beach day.  We also rent out boogie boards and snorkeling gear at inexpensive rates.  But only to our quests.

This is our Mexican home.  We hope it will be yours' too.

 

ROOMS

We have four styles of rooms for you to choose from. All rooms include wireless internet, over 200 channels with our satellite T.V., air conditioning and/or ceiling fans, and daily maid service.  View our Rooms Gallery to see the themes.

The Single

The Singles are a great room for someone on a budget.  A small room with a double bed (that sleeps 1-2), end tables, Satellite TV and airconditioner.  Clean, cheap and you have access to the rest of the hotel. Good for travelers and business people.

The Double

Traveling with your child or friend? The doubles have two beds, one double bed and one single…sleeps 1 to 3 persons.  As well comes with Satellite TV and airconditioning.

The Suites

We have two suites and they are both located on our roof top.  The Bungalo and the Beach Suite. They are a large bedroom area room that also have a kitchenette and eating area. They include a fridge, stove and everything you need to cook with. They come with one double bed…sleeps 1-2 persons, but a second bed can easily be fit in if you need to sleep more.  Both suites are on the rooftop and tend to be top picks of our quests. Ask about our weekly or bi-weekly rentals!  Discounted rates for extended stays.

The Apartments

We have 10 apartments, fully furnished, each with it's own theme and feel. They are perfect for people wishing extended stays or wanting a bit more space. The bedroom has two double beds….sleeping 1 – 4 people. The Mariana is surrounded by many excellent restaurants and we are happy to recommend one but if you prefer to cook for yourself and relax around the hotel, there is a separate kitchen and living room making this a very affordable home away from home.
